Aw, congratulations! I can remember the feeling of relief when my various mat leaves started - it was always an effort to get up in the mornings and commute when heavily pregnant.
Make sure you get plenty of rest before your little one arrives.

I'm not sure about leaving my 17 year old daughter babysitting for long as she has autism! Maybe just for short times like popping to the shops etc.

Not sure whether I feel relieved today or slightly nervous as the member of staff (I've worked with her for years) who is covering my role has never headed up a department before, she was second most senior in our department but is now heading it up while I'm on Mat leave. Just worried she will be out of her depth heading up a department and struggle.
