Mobile Villa owner’s response

Whats a reasonable amount of time to wait for a response from a villa owner?
The villa we have booked for this year needs the balance paying in two weeks time. We emailed them on Saturday and re sent the email yesterday just incase they didn’t receive it.
They could possibly be away/busy but I am just wondering how long you would leave it before contacting again?

I’d be a bit twitchy if they didn’t reply quite quickly, but they could just be busy or away. Personally, I think I’d give it a couple more days and then email again. Have you stayed at this villa before?

We always try to respond as quickly as possible, certainly we would have responded by now. To be honest we have the kids covering when we aren't available.

In this day and age, not replying to emails, especially from a business, just doesn't cut it with me. All emails can be read and responded to on most phones, and its very rare nowadays you are out of mobile signal or WiFi.

As others have said they may be busy or away and not been able to check over their emails. I always check my junk and spam folders as sometimes emails can end up in there and if that is the case they may not have seen it yet. Do you have any other contact details for them besides an email as it might be worth giving them a call.

This is what is worrying me. I want to give them the benefit of doubt but I have a nasty feeling about it. At least its just the deposit paid so far.
