The pre departure test back to the UK is the one thing that really makes me think twice. I don’t want to have it hanging over my head all holiday and wasn’t there an issue with false positives with lateral flow tests? Or has that been resolved now? So you might not even genuinely have it and be prevented from getting back.

I’ll ask if he minds me sharing their name when I’m next in the office. I’m hoping I can get a discount if I need one 😉
I think they’ll be plenty of private healthcare companies setting up at the moment! £££££

None of the above in all likelihood, as it stands.

It's a UK requirement to have a negative test before you board a flight home, not a US requirement. No one in the US will care a jot about you, your test result and what you are going to do.

So...

- You take a test
- You get a positive result
- You sort yourself out, until:
- You take a test again
- You get a negative result and can arrange/board a flight home.

If you took a lateral flow test and got a positive, I suspect you'd very rapidly be arranging a PCR test to, hopefully, get a negative back.

Are these discounted BA and Virgin tests for their own customers only?

I can’t see any reason why they would subside their competitors customers.

The Virgin ones don’t seem very discounted when added together not like the tui
I’m wishing we’d moved to tui

Why does it say £130 or £150? on their website or is that for the package?

So confused! Absolute joke virgin are charging that price. You would think they would want to encourage people to fly with them by giving them a discount or whatever.
