I’m veggie so wouldn’t typically eat one. I haven’t tried a vegan one yet - so I guess I don’t like them enough to try! I’d sooner have a cheese and onion pasty.😅

Not a great lover of them especially the basic supermarket or Greggs style one but do sometimes like a gourmet sausage roll. Find the basic ones often greasy.

I try and make my own when possible if not always have a pack of frozen Greggs ones in for my son who loves them.

The best sausage rolls I ever had were made by Walkers, the shortbread people. They were absolutely amazing - much better than Greggs! The factory is local to me and our office used to be upstairs from their shop on the High Street. Back then the shop was more like a bakery with cakes, sausage rolls, butteries, etc as well as the shortbread, but for reasons unknown they did away with everything except the shortbread which was a shame. Rather than being a busy shop that the locals all used it became a quiet tourist shop.
