Thank you. I can’t see it through BA for my dates

I know this thread is a bit old but I’ve just booked a 3 bed/2 bath premium condo at Vista Cay with Travelrepublic. Came to £1165 for 10 nights in August which was cheaper than booking via vrbo with free cancellation 1 week before we go. Only paid £15 deposit.

We did our booking for a 3 Bed Town house at Vista Cay direct with MyVillaKey managing agents, it was $1225.13 (approx £900) for 10 nights in May 22.
It was £300 less than verbo were asking for the same townhouse.

We paid a £200 deposit, we can cancel at any time with a full refund less an admin charge of US$100, which is the same as if we booked through Verbo.

I booked through Booking.com with Orlando Resort Rentals in the end as I felt it was a very good price. I went for one of the new executive apartments as they'll only be a few months old when we stay. It did say payment would be taken in full when we booked with free cancellation but they haven't taken payment yet and the small print reads full payment will be taken 30 days before our stay. Orlando Resort Rentals seem to have good reviews and they replied quickly when I emailed them. Hopefully, it will all work out OK. Looking forward to staying there.

The new executive apartments they do look amazing but the only place I could find them available for our dates was on VRBO and I just wasn’t happy with the cancellation terms. Glad you found them at a good price on Booking.com and with good booking terms. The premium condos look very nice too, strangely the 3 bed was the same price as a 2 bed and I’ve read the units are huge so looking forward to having plenty of room to spread out. Travel Republic use Millennium who seem to get decent reviews. I just hope we get to go!

We still have Yacht Club booked with ATD with deposit but I’m 99% sure we will be cancelling as I can’t see Disney bringing back any incentives to make staying on site worth it this year. YC is more than 3 times what we’re paying for the condo, it’s mind boggling! When we booked it last year, we were optimistic that things like fast passes and dining plans would be back but clearly this isn’t going to happen. I’m in two minds about whether we should still do the Disney parks if we get to go, DH and my girls aren’t bothered and happy with Universal and just chilling but it would be a bit strange (for me) I think, not to.

Yes, the premium apartments look huge(2000sqft)Hesitated for a long time over which type to book so hopefully I made the right decision. I would love to stay at the Yacht club. I really like to stay onsite when we do Disney but without dining plans etc it’s going to be very expensive so not sure what we’ll do next time( hopefully normality will have returned by then). I’m the only one in my family who’s thinking they might need a Disney fix while we are there! Hope your trip goes ahead. It looks like there’s a very good chance of it happening!
