Some Car Hire Bargains With British Airways

We have decided to take the 6 year old Grandson in February half term

BA was way cheaper than VA. Then I spotted I could add on a Standard SUV with Budget for 10 days for the grand total of £4
I opted for Avis and it was a lot more. £7.

For certain dates by adding on a car the flights actually dropped over £400. So save money and get a vehicle. The World has gone mad.

Wow Tom - that's amazing. Bit of a rip off expecting you to pay £3 more though for the privilege of Avis.

I've read on here over the years of Dibbers getting VA fly-drives cheaper than the flight only but never had it for me.

Well done

Mick

We have seen this in the past adding a car to flight only significantly reduced the price for us in 2018 (£500+).

Mick. As you know in normal times we fly with VA up to 4 times a year.

I religiously check the fly drive prices every week and fall about laughing. Never in 15+ years have I seen a bargain but I do accept some people have found them. Never me though.

The trip with the Grandson will be interesting. This is the Boy who cries in the toy train outside Tesco’s and last year was shouting out to everybody going past ‘help me’.
