Palm Springs

I watched this the other evening knowing very little (rom com (not really me), Groundhog Day (know it well over last year) and Palm Springs (yay) ) but hearing and reading great reviews thought why not give it a try.

It was certainly a rather bizarre film, took some while for me who get into it ( the first few scenes were nearly a switch off but they made sense as the film went on) and by the end I had really enjoyed it vey much. Worth a watch on amazon prime

Oh and as for Palm Springs - it isnt even filmed there (as they could a tax break to film in LA) after thinking this looks nothing like my beloved PS ...

We watched this a few months ago. We enjoyed it, it was certainly different.

The house that he floats around the pool in is in Joshua Tree. You can stay there:

Wow what a find ! Thank you. I knew it was high desert with the Joshua trees (that only grow at certain elevations ) and it sleeps 6. Great price for a price check I did in August - IF I can get out there later hits yer will define a tier look to stay for a few nights - even alone, Just to star gave and swim.

Thank you for sharing your find 🙏👍

Me to but the street scenes etc here were filmed around LA for tax break reasons apparently. Have you seen Christmas in Palm Springs ? Cheesy story but great to see so much of PS - I watch it sometimes with the sound of just so feel i was with them walking down Palm Canyon etc

From Rotten Tomatoes: The project was announced in November 2018 after it secured a tax credit to film in California, however due to the limitations of that tax credit, they were forced to film in Los Angeles area rather than Palm Springs. Andy Samberg was announced as starring in the film.In March 2019, Cristin Milioti and J. K. Simmons joined the cast.Camila Mendes was added in April.

Filming began in April 2019, and lasted for 21 days. Shots feature the Cabazon Dinosaurs.
