We are due to go in January, we will be vaccinated by then. Our hotel is on the approved list and as things stand according to the hotels Co-Vid protocols we would not be confined to our room so could use the restaurants and pool, we would not be able to use the beach, spa or leave the resort so we would still be happy to travel.
Although i fully expect travel protocols to change several times prior to our trip.

Hopefully January will be back to normal.

Our hotel is on the list too but DH & DS wouldn’t want to be restricted to just the hotel for 8 or so days. 1 day would be ok if you can use the pool, restaurants, have treatments etc but anything over that I’d be itching as would the others for the beach.

We’re due to travel on the 3rd June and have to pay the balance by the 13th. I might have both jabs by the time we travel but don’t think my husband will. We booked with BA so think we’ll probably cancel or change to next year, but have to make the decision soon.

I’m not interested in visiting anywhere where they are making people with negative tests and even vaccinated people quarantine. I imagine many will feel the same and business will be slow- expect these daft rules to change quickly when the cash is running thin.

I agree ..Tui ‘s holiday promise (if they keep to it) is great though! I’m still hoping Barbados changes their protocols though, to at least allow those not fully vaccinated to be able to ‘enjoy Barbados’ with negative test results as vaccinated people.

Only an email to say balance due on the 13th. I contacted them through online chat and they said I could take voucher or if I wanted to book for same time next year(We had it originally booked for June 2020) they would get someone to phone within 48 hours. If it’s around the same price we’ll just book.

Same as us with Tui only our balance is paid in full & we utilised the 20% rebooking voucher to rebook for this year.

We stayed at Southern Palms in St Lawrence gap. Great location, loads of brilliant restaurants. We went self catering & went to a different very good restaurant every night.
Try & get out & about. We went on a sunset catamaran cruise with Calbazza, not too big & snorkelled with turtles & fish.
I wouldn’t hire a car, we hired a guide for the day, really informative - didn’t get lost!
Also went on an island Safari, again great fun
Travelled with 2 older teens & they enjoyed trips.
