Mobile Booking Disney through ATD

Can I just check is it still that if you stay in a Disney hotel even if you book through another company you can use the magical express? Also can you book your park days even if you have just paid your deposit and don’t have the physical ticket the way you would booking direct through Disney?
Any opinions on art of animation? It’s more expensive than carribean beach but I’m thinking for a family of 5 it will work out better than being all in one room.

I thought it was this year but when I’m pricing with Disney direct it says magical express is included and that’s October.

I could be wrong, but I thought Disney were getting stricter with booking park pass days? You can only do so with a valid theme park ticket?

We booked with ATD when we went in 2019. We used the magical express and we were able to see our booking (including park tickets) in MDE before we had paid our full balance, so I can't see that booking park days would be a problem, though obvs we didn't need to do that in 2019!

Thank you, I’ve actually ended up booking with trailfinders as although a little more expensive if we would have to quarantine we can get a full refund and you can’t with ATD.

Waits for Magical Express have been up to 2 hours recently at some times of day- due to distancing etc, and I have a sneaky suspicion Disney has little interest in making it appear attractive now. It’s finishing at the end of the year. If it’s a 2 hour wait I wouldn’t bother and get an Uber etc (we get a car anyway, free parking with DVC - well not free really we pay for the car parks in our dues so they can’t charge us).

I’m actually wondering whether to get a car due to the fact you have to change for the skylines at carribean beach so have to queue twice. AoA is $15 which although annoying isn’t as bad as BC was going to be.
