Flip flops on rollercoasters
I know on some rides/rollercoasters you can put them round your wrist, can you on rollercoasters at Sea World/Busch Gardens?
Thanks! PS I did wear sandal things before but I dont really like them, find flip flops the most comfy and trainers are too hot. |

I always wear flip flops and have ridden coasters hundreds of times in the USA.
The only time that I was told to take them off, was on Hulk… once.

I’m trying to remember. I think there are baskets at the sides for some rides and for some I sat on them.👍🏻
In Japan, they give you little bands to strap over your feet to secure them in place which I think is a great idea. |

Yes I’ve even sat on them too or left them at the side of the ride at seaworld 😊

I only wear flip flops at the theme parks , I just whip them off once seated and either pop behind my back or sit on them !

I only ever wear flip flops and as others have said I take them off and either sit on them or hold them. At Seaworld there’s definitely a basket at the side of the ride on Manta that you can leave them in and possibly on some of the others too.

I learnt how to sit on flip flops at I think the old Dueling Dragons coaster at IOA (either saw someone do it or it was suggested by one of the Universal TMs, not sure as it was so long ago!).
In terms of leaving at the side, it depends on which ride as some have different embarking/dis-embarking platforms so this doesn't work for this!
