Camper Van Insurance recommendations

Hi
We bought our first Campervan yesterday, it's a 2001 modified Mercedes Vito which has been professionally converted with a fridge/oven sink etc and we love it! What I'm not loving it trying to find insurance for it! Has anyone got any recommendations on who best to get a quote from? I seem to be going round in circles.

Dh said try Just Kampers. He�s been using them for his VW camper van.

Apparently they give you a 10% off card if you insure with them. They sell camper van accessories, awnings and any thing camper related.

If it�s professionally converted then Direct Line will also insure it. The fixtures (eg cabinets, cooker, etc) and van are insured but personal possessions aren�t. It�s only clothes that we have in the van mainly anyway.

We have a converted VW transporter.

We are with Towergate for our caravan, they do insure camper vans as well
