Wow! I actually thought they were pre-sealed doses and needles. Like when you go to the chemist for your flu jab - I thought it came in a box (they appear to take it out in a box like a regular tablet box) and give that

No with the Pfizer you need to reconstitute before giving it. With the Astra its already consituted to the level you need. It makes it easier to freeze to the required temp if the volume is tiny.

Just about to set off to todays clinic which will be Pfizer this morning till we run out and then Astra. All I have to do is remember to change my brain half way through the day.

Ffizer slightly more complicated to make but easier to administer as the needles are just a bit thinner. Depending on the needle for Astra its just a bit rougher to do.

As the patient you probably wouldn't know the difference but as the nurse you can feel it.
