Tui just cancelled our june holiday

We were due to travel 29th june to Florida, a booking changed from last year, but an email from TUI today has cancelled us
Thought this would happen, was just a case of when really

Really sorry to hear of this disappointment for you.

Did they give any info why they'd cancelled? Seems the world is opening up pretty quick. Most folk think US will be green very soon. We're booked in to travel to Florida (with BA) 18 June and I was hopeful it would go ahead.

Only thing that needs to change now (I think?) is the US opening up their border to folk from the UK - they downgraded the risk for travelling TO the UK yesterday, so I'm hoping that'll happen soon...

They are probably taking a realistic view that no holidays to the US will happen before early July. Most speculation suggest after 4th July

Not sure, I think it could be the case
Plus you’d need to isolate on your return etc, so not sure how practical it is for everyone

Just had our Email from TUI cancelling our 25th June flight from Manchester, due to the traffic light system.
This flight was due to a cancellation from last year, like everyone else, whereby we opted for the voucher and rebooked this one.
Given that the original flight in 2019 was paid for but the 2020 flight was purchased through a mixture of the voucher and money should I expect to receive the cash back or another voucher?

Yes, all but a few flights will go if the US remains amber
