DFCH price drop...

Prices seem to have dropped with DFCH this morning for our dates, late July 19 to early Aug...

Virgin still cheaper for us though...

Hope this might help someone.

Whenever I've looked at Virgin for carhire they've always come out more as they only have basic not comprehensive insurance whereas Andy is always fully inclusive. Has something changed ?

Hi. You must be checking via a wrong link. Standalone hire with VA is fully inclusive and includes a 2nd driver free. I have used them as a DIY booking since 2003.
Always competetive

That’s who I used for trip this May, and have done for the past few years.
Full insurance being a must.

I tried Andy last week to compare and he is still more expensive. I think it’s the two driver deal I’d need so would have to phone him, but the quote was still dearer for a single driver. I’m off to check again.

Good to see prices heading back down again although, for our dates, they are still more than I currently have booked with Andy. Its getting closer though!

Virgin's price seems to have dropped too.

Booked with Andy last week for dates in June/July, would normally pick Alamo, but the Hertz price was £504 for STD SUV for 19 days(cheapest I had seen for a while for my dates), looking today the Hertz price has now more than doubled to £1182
wow!

Hertz prices have gone crazy for some reason. Even for Belfast in June. In general for my dates everyone has increased in price so holding off for a wee while.
