MARVEL Character Meal at Universal.

I am torn between this and the Minions Breakfast at Loewes.

Would appreciate any feedback :-)

Have read foods a bit rubbish but figure worth it for character interaction

Haven’t done the Marvel dinner but we did the Minions character breakfast at Cafe Labamba in 2016. The character interaction was fantastic, kids loved it (as did I and hubby)! the minions kept playing tricks on our girls, making each other laugh and generally fooling around. Gru was a touch creepy though ...he kept sniffing my hair which was quite odd. They also had spongebob, squidward and Patrick.

we did the minions one 2 years ago - it was in the park - may also have been at Cafe La Bamba? The characters were really great fun especially Gru who came and sat at the table with us and the minions interaction was ace. They also had Dora the Explorer and a male character who hangs out with her (no idea who he is!) and some of the spongebob characters. The food was absolutely awful. Cold and dried out food with not a massive amount of choice. Not a patch on the character buffets that Disney offer. Having said that, the character interaction was that good we didn't really mind. Perhaps the venue which is now at one of the hotels is offering an improved food selection and quality. I would definitely do it again.

Jumping on the thread to ask - which characters are at the marvel superhero meals most regularly? My dd is a massive batman fan. If she could meet batman we'd do the meal without hesitation.

Unfortunately it's a Marvel superhero event. Batman is DC comics character.

We did it last year there was wolverine, storm, Spider-Man captain America, can’t remember the one with the laser eyes name 🙈
The food was good, the characters were good the photographer was rubbish, seemed to pick his favourite tables & just stuck there or stood taking to the staff! We only got 2 characters with the photographer, the rest were taken on my camera

Sorry to jump in but is the marvel dining all through the year? As just tried to book for the end of September but booking only goes up to the first .Has anyone gone towards the end of September beginning of October.?
