Have booked to see Joseph in the West End this summer. Paying for the four of us but some of the prices are eye watering!

I never pay them. Cheap seats are good enough for me!

Wow. Breathtaking show. Not my usual style but definitely worth the hype. We were in the cheap seats but had an excellent view.

Hard to believe our Hamilton (the understudy) was making his professional debut. He was superb.

The show is amazing but I did find that I was so blown away by the sheer force of the wordplay that my emotions were not really engaged until the second act. I think also UK audiences have to work a bit harder, as we are less familiar with the political side of American history.

Phenomenal evening though, and I definitely want the cast album!

Come From Away is still the best show I have seen this year though. Go and see it!

I’m going to see this too, really looking forward to it as Joseph was the first show I saw many years ago when Jason Donovan played Joseph.

Too right. Normally go in front few rows at local theatre but not paying around £700 for the four of us to do that in London!

Rent is my son's favourite show. We have just booked tickets for this in July if anyone is interested.

Wasn't able to go and see the cinema showing of everybody loves Jamie at the last minute. Snagged tickets for the encore showing in June. Delighted !

That sounds fun! We saw the infamous version with Caprice as Maureen, who was utterly awful. Unfortunately it overshadowed the show for us.

Saw another version at the Tabard in Chiswick which was a lot better - although their Angel wasn't good. You really do need a strong ensemble cast.

We are seeing Man of La Mancha at the Coliseum on Wednesday. Heard mixed reviews but it's a show that is rarely done in the UK (most of what I know about it is from the Quantum Leap episode!)

The Tabard is great, but VERY intimate. Other great off West End venues are The Finborough and The Union. The Menier Chocolate Factory has some great productions too.
