Which airboat tour and what time of day?
Hi,
I'm sure this question has been asked and answered before so apologies. We will we staying close to Old Town from 22nd August - 31st August and I quite fancy doing an airboat tour. Can anyone recommend one that isn't too far away (we will have a car)? My kids will be aged 6 and 9 so we don't want it to be too long, and is there a particular time of day which is better? Thanks |

A few years ago me and my son did boggy creek airboat rides, about 30 mins by car from old town. Was entertaining enough and not to long .
There website site says 30 Minute Tour NOTE: The best time to see alligators is early in the morning (before 10:00 AM) during hot weather and later in the day in the cold. Edited at 11:17 PM. |

Personally I'd do the hour tour with Spirit of the Swamp and early morning as there is more activity and less likely to be raining.
Easy to get to from Old Town, basically straight along the 192 Edited at 11:19 PM. |

We've booked Spirit of the swamp after seeing good reviews on here. Got a morning slot at 9am for 90 mins

Just booked Spirit of the Swamp for 9am for 2 hours, we did 90 minutes last time and it just flew by, the longer the better for us
