Glass walk grand canyon

Has anyone done this thinking of doing it on our trip this year

Yes we did it- get there early- we pretty much had it to ourselves and spent at lest 30 mins on it

Amazing experience, would not have missed it for the world. As said be there early as it regularly closes for short periods of time due to weather depending on what time of year you visit.

yeah when we went it was November and freezing! so cold we basically whizzed round it, wasn't expecting it to be so cold. So I can't really say if it was amazing or not
We'd stayed at Grand Canyon Ranch the night before and had woken to snow and a convertible we couldn't get into as it was frozen shut

If you can't get to the much more impressive South rim, then the West rim is worth going to, still impressive, although I'd pick doing the helicopter landing option over the skywalk every time.

They were very much into upselling and treating it as a cash cow when we were there and you could only have their photos on the bridge itself. May have changed now though.

If you really want to see the Grand Canyon and not a 1/4 scale model then go to the South rim if you can and preferably stay over as it is a long drive to do there and back in a day and do a sunrise or sunset.

Have you done Death Valley as well? If not, I'd consider that over the West Rim if you have already done the South Rim.
