July 2020 Club!

OK, So it's seriously early but I am already itching to get planning our July 2020 trip in earnest. There will be me 40 (ages at time of travel), DW 39, DD 18, DD 5 and DS3.

We have booked our villa through The Dibb for 21 nights and have a few extra days reserved to give us some wiggle room on flights. Im desperate for August/September 2019 to some round to get flight hunting.

Anyone else started planning their July 2020 trip?

I fully expect to be in this group on my own for a long time

you are not on you own! We booked a Dibb villa last August - so excited! And have now booked fly drive through Kenwood Travel... Will be DH, DD and DS and me and my mum! Lots of planning ahead

I expected to be a lone member for a while 😂 we have a villa booked on highlands reserve but will wait to see the flight prices later this year before we decide exactly when we fly out.
We now have a club of two! I’m sure we will have more than that over the coming months.

We have a villa booked at west haven (the santurary) and eagerly awaiting for free dining so we can book onsite for a week too, either CBR or POR and will up grade to full DDP depending on costs (so fingers crossed there is free dining lol)
We won’t book flights yet, will wait until 11 months out.
We are not going on holiday this year so it’s going to be a long wait.
Ticket prices will be a big expense! We are a family of 5 (only one classed as a child) so lots of saving to do 🤪

We are hoping to book for early July 2020, when/if free DDP is released. My son finishes school early in July. We have been in August and October before but not July

Welcome! We absolutely loved our on/off site split stay last year. I know everyone is waiting wit baited breath but I think free dining will still be there, We are the same, a family of 5 so saving for next year. The cost of park tickets really hurt. I'm definitely skipping Universal next year... but then I did say that last year

We will be pretty new to July too. I went July in around 2001 so I have little memory of it. We loved it in October last year though.

Me! Though I've only been in the club for a few days. Still looking and trying to decide when to book and what to book!
Waiting for DDP (although I'm not a fan of staying onsite as I find it claustrophobic) but think it would save us some money.
We went last year and stayed offsite, loved it.
Any suggestions gratefully received.

No really advice to give. We did a week on site last year and 15 nights off site. We were happier off site but will definitely miss the DDP this time as the kids loved the character meals. We will be waiting for August/September/October to find a decent deal on flights and start formalising our plans.
