Mobile The best day to do discovery cove

Hi guys, was just wondering if there was any day better than others to do discovery cove? Would a week day be better than a weekend? I know that they have a limit on the amount of people that can enter so wasn’t sure if there would be a difference.
Would appreciate people’s opinions as we are trying to work out where to fit this in on our holiday.
Many thanks!

We went to Discovery Cove on a Saturday in order to avoid the weekend crowds at the other parks. DC was still very relaxed and laid back - they really do limit numbers!

We also booked towards the beginning of the holiday so that there was time to rearrange if we had bad weather on our chosen day.

As they limit the numbers I've always thought it makes sense to go at the weekend or a mega busy park day like July 4th when everywhere is over crowded as DC won't be.

We are going our first full day as an antidote to jetlag (and as mentioned if there are weather issues)

We picked a Saturday, purely because we knew that day would be super busy anywhere else we tried to visit that day!

Like others we have also booked a Saturday at the beginning of our holiday. Want to ensure we can reschedule if any weather issues and also avoid the busyness at the parks.

Yep, as others have said, a Saturday near the beginning of our holiday.

What excellent advice! Would never have occurred to me to do it that way and book a Saturday, makes perfect sense! Luckily I’m booking DC this week so will look for a Saturday!

This is why I love the Dibb

We are going on Memorial Day. Parks and shops will be busy so the perfect day to go.

Just bear in mind that while they do limit crowds, if you're on a budget a midweek day is far better value than a holiday day. There could be hundreds of dollars in the difference if you're going as a family! It really makes no difference what day you go, the park numbers are limited to 1300 guests. If you're going offpeak there could be quite a few less than that and you'd have a more pleasant park experience.
