Boathouse
Hi! I need some advice... I have been trying to get reservations at the boathouse in Disney springs in September but it seems there is nothing available for our party of 7 (5 adults, 1 child and 1 infant) has anyone else managed to get a reservation for a party of this size? Any tips? Thanks!

What day / time are you looking for?
Have you tried booking for eight rather than seven? Or try booking with Opentable, I just got a table for seven in September on first search. Edited at 03:30 PM. |

Have you tried booking on The Boathouse own website? They always have way more options than going through Disney.
Love the Boathouse... we always dine twice there during our stay. theboathouseorlando/ |

I booked a table for 3 for early evening, late May at the Boathouse last week.
Tried to book initially through the Disney site and same thing, was showing no availability other than at about 9:45pm ! I used OpenTable instead and loads of choice, could pick any time we wanted (in 15 min start slots) so I'd definitely recommend going that route. Good luck ! |

This is not helpful on DDP.

Yes it is...
As the other member just said, it doesn’t matter how you reserve the table , you can still pay in any form you like. When The Boathouse first opened this was the only way you could get a decent time slot as Disney didn’t carry many of the popular times. I was always asked by the Staff ‘how would I like to pay, DDP or other means?’ We always choose OOP though anyway as it doesn’t work out a good 2 credit meal for the choice of menu we have, Booking via their website through Opentable makes no difference to how you pay at the table. |

We went straight up to the desk and booked a table for the following week. No problems at all!

In October last year we just walked up to the podium the day before we wanted. No problem at all. Wouldn't give up if you can't get one online. MDE and website can be glitchy.
