Mobile Insurance for golf buggy on AMI

Could anyone help please. We are visiting AMI in May and we are hiring a golf cart for the week but we need some sort of insurance and I’ve searched everywhere on how to get some. Has anyone got any idea on where I can get insurance.
Thanks

Yes we have and they can’t help because US residents their car insurance covers them but obviously it’s different for UK residents.

This is similar to renting small boats. I tried many places. They put a huge hold on your card and you are on your own.
So to me the risk was way too high so didn't rent in the end.

You could try giving this company a call or an email. tedtoddinsurance/products...cart-insurance to see if they can help or advise on a option for you.

OP. I think Steve above has nailed it.

The other option is Money Maxim. A golf cart is a mechanically propelled vehicle and in your case will be rented not owned. Therefore their product may 'fit'.
However I would contact them to check.

Beach bums who we rent off have told us when we were last there that we don’t actually have to have insurance and that it’s up to us. They couldn’t help us in anyway about getting insurance and said many brits just don’t bother with insurance 🤷

I would have a read of this before you decide gloverlawfirm/blog/golf-...ts-in-florida/

Just do a google search for Golf Cart Insurance Florida and you will see what options you have.

We were told the same, personally I wouldn't risk it, can you imagine if a child ran out in front of the cart, doesn't bear thinking about.

Think Redrach (sp*) hired one on a previous trip report on here, maybe she'll see this.
