Free Disney Dining Plan
Hi folks, does anyone know when the free Disney Dining Plan is released for 2020 bookings? Waiting to book our trip and I haven't seen anything yet.
Also, I noticed on Kenwood travel that the upgrade price for Club level rooms in Universal are small or non-existent. I've been tempted to book this now with our flights and then book our Disney stuff separately when the Free DDP comes out. However, I'm worried that if I wait then when the Free DDP is available, these low cost upgrades will inflate in price. Just wondering what everyone else would do? Thanks in advance.

There's meant to be an announcement about the 2020 offer on 11th April, with the offer starting on 24th(I think) April. When the offer goes live, there will be loads of threads and posts on here about it.
Kenwood Travel's site isn't a live one, so the prices and availability shown are necessarily the actual prices and availability. When you book online, it's a request to book, and they then get back to you with a price. It wouldn't hurt to give them a call to get an accurate price though, and book flights and US if you're happy with it, then either add on the Disney offer with them once it's released, or book it separately with someone else.

It was the 19th April last year
, personally I would wait to book anything from experience, however if the flight prices are a price that you don't think you could get again then book, I always wait as I have always found they go down after a few months before theh go back up!

It's normally mid-late April, but was released earlier one year. It definitely won't be this year though as the current free nights offer doesn't finish until 1st April and there's usually a gap of a few weeks between offers.

You don’t have to but either from Disney but you need to buy both together as a package to qualify.

All though Disney is expected to release a new offer in April there is no guarantee that it will be free dining.
Disney will be waiting to see what effect GE is having on bookings before launching any free DDP offers.
