Latest entry to Hollywood Studios

We're planning on popping in to Hollywood Studios just to watch Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular on 11th April.

The show is scheduled to start at 9:00pm but park closing is listed as 8:30pm. Does that mean we need to be through the entry gates by 8:30pm at the very latest or we'll be refused entry?

We've got a 6:20pm ADR at Kona Cafe so hoping we'll make it to HS by 8:30pm easily...

Mmmmm…..close, if you get taken right away for your ADR but you can easily have a 10-15 min wait, if you are driving then no problem but Disney transport it will be tight

You can get in the gates until just before the show. They won't turn you away. There's always a rush just before the fireworks of guests coming just to see the fireworks.

That's true when the park closing time is at the same time at the firework show. Which is often the case for the other parks.

As mentioned by the OP, HS park closing is at 8:30pm on April 11th. This is the start time of Fantasmic but half an hour before the Star Wars fireworks. In order to get in the park, the OP has to be at the entrance before the park closing time.

If you want a decent view to see it all properly, you would need to be there before the last minute anyway.
