Does anyone recieve AP Emails re special events etc

Link for WDW Star Wars Galaxy's Edge AP Previews is now working, and it DOES work for non-activated AP vouchers, and for UK guests.

This is what I just posted on another site as to how it worked for me:

After lots of Stitch Ate Page etc message for over an hour, I followed advice [on other site, where the thread is now 250 pages long] and did the following:

• Closed all browser windows to start from fresh.
• Went to the main Disney World website and signed out of my account and signed back in using the link at the top. [May not be necessary, just saying what I did though. I also selected the USA-English version of the site, just in case]
• Clicked on this link: disneyworld.disney.go/au...am%2Fverify%2F
• I got an odd message about leaving Facebook (which I confirmed) then it took me to a Disney login page.
• Then arrived at a page asking me to select valid guests. It was already set for myself, my wife and my daughter (all of us are linked together to my MDE account, and all of us with pre-paid AP vouchers) so I clicked continue.
• It then allowed me to select a date and a time slot (all dates, time slots, and extra cantina/lightsaber options were available).This was at about 3:30pm UK time, so 10:30am EST.
• Confirmed all was correct and it gave me a confirmation page and a booking number!

I printed out everything in sight and have also just received a confirmation email. Booked for Saturday, August 17, 2019, 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. There are three slightly overlapping slots per day, on 17 - 21 August.

Fantastic I have just signed up too after being told my wdwt on Twitter I couldn’t as I had not activated my ap and was pretty miffed but now am happy as it has worked

I wasn’t sure what the 3 options meant with the 1st Option then the second option was Olgas cantine then 3 option lightsaber so I just click on any as I couldn’t see it properly on Instagram 🤣

The three options are:

1) Land and main ride only
2) Land, main ride, and Oga's Cantina bar visit.
3) Land, main ride, and a booking for the build-you-own lightsaber place ($200 or so)

Ah right I thought that, I am not sure which i chose to be honest i just clicked as I didnt want it to get booked up i chose monday 19th 1-5pm

not overly bothered about ogas cantina if i havent chose it anyway

I'll try and remember, but I'm sure there will be lots of chatter online about it!

The AP Preview slots were all booked up in about 3.5 hours from when the first people got in. The availability lasted a bit longer than I expected to be honest. I'm not sure Disney had even finished sending out all their passholder emails before it was full.

I know some people noticed the link (it was the same one as for other AP Previews) was already live and working before any emails had been sent - although the Disney AP Helpdesk team apparently denied this, even in the face of people who had booked and received confirmation messages. So any passholders following the online communities probably got a head start.

Disney really should have done it the same way that they did for the CM Previews, which was to give people a few days notice of the date that reservations would actually open, rather than making the link live randomly and then starting to send out invitation emails.
