Killarney & Ring of Kerry

Just booked a few nights away for August, coming down from NIreland. Haven’t been in Killarney since I was a child so I’m looking forward to it. Any tips on where to stop on the ring of Kerry & should we visit Dingle too? We want to do the gap of Dunloe, we have 3 full days and a few hours on our going home day.

Omg sounds like a flash back to my childhood holidays! Done it all, got the family photos... but it’s been a while (40 years &#128521 so I’m hoping to do a revisit in September xx
Have fun! 😊

Do visit Dingle...it really is a beautiful area. I spent many years there as a teenager and re-visited two years ago. It was just as beautiful, peaceful and welcoming as I remembered.

Dingle is fantastic... I would recommend basing yourself there if you haven't already booked accommodation. The nightlife is great, so long as you enjoy a pub

IMO Dingle is an absolute MUST - way ahead of the RoK. If you get a nice day - there is nowhere on earth that I have been to is more beautiful. Take a day at it.

Sounds amazing! I’ve been as a child but don’t really remember it. So we’ll definitely visit there too. Thanks 😊
