It's our anniversary on tuesday so i've just booked Hickory's just in case!

Just enjoying lunch at The Dock in Cardiff Bay.

Feel very safe, social distancing, etc all very good.

Just waiting for my apple crumble to arrive!

This scheme is doing nothing to help my waistline!

Just booked Mint and Mustard in Cardiff next week. Their website says eat out to help out extended to end September. Been like gold dust to get bookings there so booked just in case too.

Hmm I can't find anything in the news to say it has been extended . it is our anniversary on the 2nd and we're already booked into a nice place near us but the discount would make it nicer of course .

Some places are doing it independently... there’s one near us doing it every tues and weds for a couple more weeks...

Went to Prezzo for dinner yesterday. They're accepting Meerkat Meals 2-for-1 alongside Eat out to Help Out so we had 3 courses each plus 3 drinks each for £23. Full price before the discounts was £62. Booked again for Monday

Didn’t realise Wimpy were still around. Always had a summer treat of a Knickerbocker glory when I was a child ! Haven’t seen a Wimpy bar for years.

We went to Morrisons. Hubby had a big breakfast, I was good and stuck to my Slimming World friendly scrambled egg on toast !

A lot of local places around us are doing their own version of 50% upto £10 a person off food and some drink etc this month Mon to weds now, while it's great they are doing this to lift business, however I can't help but think if they can offer 50% off with no government funding, are they just ripping us off now Thurs to Sun and have done for years? If they can afford to do this, it really does show the mark up...
