That is fantastic news! I would imagine she will now get booked in for her first scan in around 2 weeks time and all being well will be signed off to the regular hospital channels. Do you know if she had any other embryos that they have frozen?
I can never express enough how thankful I am to everyone invloved in the processes and laws that allowed IVF to come about. I have (mostly) wonderful twin boys thanks to the process and I thank my lucky stars every single day.

That's great that they got 3 'snow babies' (I love that term).
It's amazing - I just love science. I mean I 'm rubbish at it, but I'm so thankful there are these brilliant and clever people out there that can do these things!

Aww how lovely, hope everything goes well. 🥰
I always find it fascinating how IVF is more likely to result in identical twins than usual. I remember reading up on it once as the reasons why this happens are very interesting . There’s a coupe of people on social media who had identical triplets through IVF too. Edited at 04:53 PM. |

12 is a VERY good number, allows for all the ones that won't fertilise or reach blastocyst stage and not too many which is a whole other issue, but I can see it's good news anyways, huge CONGRATULATIONS.
I was a fertility nurse for a few years in both the NHS and private fertility clinic and just love to hear success stories.
