How are all my fellow lurgy coughers? Update 12th June.

Well it's still with me, 9 days and counting! I have refused to let it stop me doing anything but it's certainly been a battle! My daughter is 3 weeks in tomorrow and my husband has got antibiotics as he has reduced immunity. Has anyone shaken it off yet and do we have any new members?

Not yet but I’ve been very heavy eyed and achey the last day or so. Exhausted too - hope it passes as I cannot be ill

My son and his girlfriend came home from uni last week with similar bugs and can't shake them off. His girlfriend has even been prescribed antibiotics.

Dh came home yesterday full of the cold and coughing, feeling miserable. Every year he gets ill at this time of year. Here’s hoping it’s mild and I don’t catch it.

I’m a newbie 😂 3 days in! Not surprised as rest of the family have it so I knew it was coming Feeling 💩 Night nurse has at least made me sleep at bedtime!

10 days in and still feeling awful. Have missed so many Xmas events I think I might give Xmas a miss altogether. On antibiotics as I look after my brother who has severe copd but all they have done is make me sick !

Had my cold end of Oct... cough still lingering on.

Change in temp, eating, drinking, lying down all set it off.

Nhs website says go to drs if still there after 4 weeks, but then also says lingering cough not a sign of anything serious ..s I guess just wait it out?

18 days now, think I picked it up when had my 4 night break in florida, had cold symptoms, bad cough, dizziness, feeling sick, as no better after 2 weeks so went to dr who put me on antibiotics, cough only bad in mornings now but got full on cold symptoms again, seem to have a temperature most days, wish I could shake this

Im 3 days into my cough and cold. Kids have been coughing a while though. My 3 year old has been coughing for about 5 weeks now. Doctor says no infection though so he's been prescribed with an inhaler which luckily seems to be helping him get some sleep at night (and me!). Really hoping we will feel a bit better by Christmas day.
