Expired CC refund

So I received a Disney gift card for $379. I was unsure why and realised it was the same amount as the MNSSHP tickets. I called and was told it was because the card had expired. I had already called Natwest in preparation for this happening and they said it wouldn't make a difference as its the same number.
Thankfully it was only for this amount, husband now back on the phone to Disney to make sure it doesn't happen with the full holiday amount

Will need to keep an eye out on this, we are due refunds from ATD, my credit card is also with Natwest and has expired. They told me the same, that it would be put on the new card, it might take a bit longer. May contact ATD and double check as have over 6k to be refunded

Same for me with the initial ATD deposit (£200) and TUI flights (£3k).
The ATD balance has already gone back onto the card I paid that with - that card is still current. The deposit has not appeared back on my Tesco Bank card yet though - that expired last summer, but the new card has the same card number.
I'll update if/when it appears, or if I have to contact ATD.
