Keys to the Kingdom Tour - quick question...

We are doing this for the first time this year - but I am slightly worried as dont have great knees (they hurt when stood still for ages)

On this tour - are there many opps to sit down? (or is it standing throughout?)

Thanks in advance

I did this in 2009 and there is a lot of walking and standing, but also plenty of opportunity to sit. You sit on the rides, a break for people to go off to the bathroom and at lunch.

Can be tiring with the heat. Would say more standing than sitting really, mostly in shady spots. You can perch on railings and benches. I'd book the earliest time if possible.

We did the 8.30 tour in May. I definitely have bad knees. It is a long 5 hours and I was certainly ready for a long sit down by the end, but like others have said you can perch or sit whenever there’s an opportunity. They do try to keep you in the shade and I think we had about 3 bathroom breaks. Lunch was at 11.30 and we got a 30 minute sit down then. There is several sets of steps which I have to go down with the same leg leading every time, so I’m slow. But I never felt rushed at all. I hope all that helps. It’s certainly interesting, especially the Utilidors. I’m glad we did it.

This does sound interesting, can you book it online?

It's a great value tour, one of the best! bookable by calling (407) 939-8687 definitely worth booking as soon as you can, it does book up.

However, it's a walking tour and they repeat this a lot because there is a lot of walking, most of it quite brisk walking, involved.

Best way I can describe it is... stand and listen for 10 mins, brisk walk for 5 mins, stand and listen for 10 mins, brisk 5 min walk.. repeat

I had a knee injury when we did it last May and I did OK but I did feel it. There are sometimes benches to sit on at the various locations, and of course the rides/lunch but it's still a heart quite a walk. It's also ECV compatible which is an option.

Anyway it's still a great tour and well worth the money
