Packages for 2014 Candlelight Processional at Epcot On Sale Today

Guests can start booking their Candlelight Processional Dining Packages today. The event starts the night after Thanksgiving (November 28) and runs through December 30.

For those unfamiliar with the event, it’s a gorgeous re-telling of the Christmas story with a celebrity narrator each night and seasonal music from a massed choir and huge orchestra. The event started at Disneyland park in the 1958 with Walt Disney himself. At Walt Disney World Resort, it’s presented at the America Gardens Theater at Epcot, a beautiful venue, especially when all decked out for the holidays.

Candlelight Processional Dining Packages, available on select days, start at $35 for lunch and $50 for dinner for adults, include a delicious meal at an Epcot restaurant and a guaranteed seat for one of the Candlelight Processional performances.

Does anyone know if the candlelight processional dining package includes the special viewing area for illuminations this year or not?

Up til now it has every year, but one website (Dis) has a note on the site saying it doesn't this year, whereas every other website I've found says it does include the viewing area when u book the package.

Emailed Disney. They got back to me. Special viewing for illuminations not included. (Just in case anyone else was wondering)

Shame. I suspect this is because you can now FP+ Illuminations anyway.

I have preferred viewing on my booking as a 'magical extra' for booking with Disney (we booked last April) and I am really hoping they honour that.

There weren't when we did it.

We were on DDP and it was 2 credits instead of 1 for Teppan Edo but we got 3 courses.

no set menus, I don't think the prices are on the website yet, I know the minimum for diner is $50

no more narrators have been announced, I still don't know who it will be for my dates
