What paint to use?

Right hoping all these work!

First I did the bedside tables being the smallest pieces to try paint out etc.. Pic is done one next to the other, both are done now though.



Next is a chest of drawers, I forgot to do before photo but found right image online.. Sorry my pic is sideways.




And the latest one, just put handles on a few hours ago, and I've ordered a piece of glass to protect the top too. Can't wait for that Ti come next week.

Wow marialinda! Fantastic job! Can I ask did you use brush or roller as that looks a lovely smooth finish!?

Thanks! Brush.. Couldn't get to grips with a roller and it's bubbles !

Used a 2.5 inch brush. Got a system going as you do! Tended to brush flat areas in one direction across in 5 ich ish sort of panels. I went from right hand side of item to the left, brushing from left to right so I was swiping over where I first put the brush down previously, iykwim. Xx

Oh wow, they look amazing.

I’ve bought some paint but can’t remember what it was now cos I’m still in town and ds took everything home in the taxi.

Just spent £200 on paint and bedcovers etc cos he’s going from a single to a double bed so needed everything bigger lol

Yes, satin rather than gloss.

Amazing job, really well done. I love the new handles. You're really inspiring me here to do something similar. I could do with a month off work to get a few things done around the house!

Fab results am hoping to do something similar with my bedroom furniture soon .
Can’t decide whether to go white or grey though!

I used shortbread, just a cream colour. I have a triple door wardrobe in another room, going to do that grey.
