Extra, extra magic hours
So normally you can use magic hours to see which park will be busiest, it was a great system till the eemh were announced,
Now we are reaching a point that 3 out if 4 parks have extra morning hours, none of the crowd calendars I’ve looked are really know how to cope with all this. What are people’s thiughts in crowds? My fast pass window opens in about a months time and I’m struggling to put a basic plan together. I’m just hoping the Star Wars land cries start to die down before the 19th September |

Just go to whichever park you want as it won’t make much difference as EEMH has been designed to try and disperse the crowds

I'm in the same position, I go on 16th September. I've made ADRs and the park I go to each day will be where I have an ADR. I like having my main meal at lunchtime.

Same here, we go on the 16th Sept and will do a Disney park on any midweek day and take it as it comes. We’re staying off-site so other than not doing a weekend, doubt it will make any difference which park.

We will be there in September and I was disappointed that GE opening was announced after we booked. I decided that we would take advantage of EMH this time because of increased crowds (we don’t normally) so built a plan around that. When the EEMH in multiple parks were announced, I changed my plans again but only because I found it less restrictive, that is, I didn’t need to be in a particular park each day. So in a nutshell, go to any park on any day and don’t overthink it.

As above, I’ve just picked parks for whatever days. We’ll do DHS on our first day to take advantage of EEMH and the rest I’ve just spread out across the holiday.

There’s no way Star Wars will die down before end of Sept & in all honesty I doubt it’ll be any less packed in another year or two, just look at how busy Pandora is 2 yrs later & that wasn’t even a popular film much less any where near Star Wars level. I hate Star Wars but it’s definitely a force to be reckoned with.
I’m looking at EEMH as a good thing. We’ll take full advantage of them to go GE for DS with the rule being we leave once the EEMH finishes & before all the offsite guests swarm the place. As for the other parks, just stick with which ever you had already planned to visit that day. I doubt MK & AK will be anywhere near as busy as HS on a daily basis as most people will be using their EEMH for GE & Toy Story.

I’m just picking a park to book late morning/midday fast passes at, whenever we turn up we turn up but we’ll try and actually make use of the EMH. Once those fast passes are done we can then judge next plans based on if the current park we’re in is busy or not.
I think we’re gonna do a lot of park hopping. Our only dictated evenings are on MNSSHP and the night we have Via Napoli booked. Other than that we’re gonna go with the flow.

Ha ha how weird 3 of us going on 16th September!
I'm with others in doubting Star Wars will have died down anywhere near the end of September. Its going to be insane for months. Having been to the parks for Star Wars weekends back in the day there are a lot of Orlando based people that will turn out and I would expect it to be manic for til at least Christmas but its really hard to tell. In terms of the Extra Magic Mornings, I like others am ignoring them and going with what works park wise for me. I'm hoping that it wont impact much but its hard to know really.

We have only changed one day on our plan and that is our 2nd day which is now hollywood studios at 6am till mid day then back to the pool at Coronado then animal kingdom in the evening! The rest have stayed the same, we go on the 19th September, and cant wait to see Galaxy’s edge after first being really disappointed it was opening!
