I lost my dad 30 years ago, so I am not so sad as I’ve had more fathers days without him than with him. Mother’s Day is a different story all together!
 So Sorry for those missing their dads today x

I saw my dad yesterday, and my dh has the kids all by himself today as I went to work at the zoo today. He even cooked dinner 😂. Me and the kids will take him out for dinner later in the week.

DH went to Pecorama in Beer with DD this morning, he got in free! Hadn't been for a few years but they loved it again. DD beat DH at mini golf, chocolate cake and the lovely train ride, all be it a bit of a squish... 🚂😁

My daddy has also gone to the biggest best garden shed in the sky but he’s been gone for over 30 years so it’s ok.
As for my DH well he went to work but the boys got him a lovely Under Armour gym top and hoody and I cooked him his favourite Sunday dinner ... 50s Prime Time meatloaf, sliced beans and mash potato

My dad lives in Canada so we are too far apart to do anything other than a Skype call.
My DH got a homemade card from DS8 - DS15 I think had forgotten but recovered this by actually being sociable all day (those of you with teenagers know how rare this can be unless you are communicating via Snapchat) DH opted for a Five Guys meal at Trafford Center and we spent lunch talking about our upcoming Florida trip.
