It won't be quick enough for videos at all.
These are the prices though, its up to you if its "worth it" based on what you intend to do: WiFi Light £4.99 for an hour's browsing Wifi Max £14.99 for unlimited use for the entire flight, there's no data cap Messaging pass £2.99 for messaging only throughout the entire flight, no videos or photos

When we were on the plane in December I got an hours internet and it was strong enough for me to go on our house cameras and watch footage on there. I didn’t try anything else though.
I think in the grand scheme of things it’s not that much money and if it keeps you occupied it’ll be worth it. |

it would be cheaper to buy an SD card, buy a month of netflix and download a bunch of netflix box sets to the SD card on your tablet.

Couldn't think of anything worse than wifi on a plane... I absolutely love 9 hours of not having to have any contact with the outside world, no phones pinging, no emails, no work rubbish coming at me! Just stick my headphones on and watch films without a care in the world! I realise not everyone is like me though lol.

Excited about Disney
|
I purchased it on my way to Florida last year and was able to listen to the football commentary via local radio app. Then was on Facebook for a while and also on YouTube. Had no issues with being able to watch videos etc.
I know it's expensive but I had budgeted it in and I usually spend that much on magazines pre-flight, so was a nice change. Sarah

Just to let you know, max wi-fi is now £20.99!
Think that's a bit steep
