DLP October planning - Help
Hi all!
So myself and DH are looking to head to DLP for our wedding anniversary in October. But in all honesty booking this mini trip seems so much more daunting than our WDW ones. We’re only looking for 2/3 days and nights, open to where we stay, onsite would be nice but the price racks up so much. We don’t drive so transport is a must. I’ve had a look on a few sites and the prices seem to vary so much- so if anyone has any handy tips for this trip it’d be super appreciated. Basically i’m looking for info on what’s a good price- booking through Disney themselves at Les Villages Nature Paris with 2 nights and 2 days park with flights is coming out at £830. And my experience of magical breaks hasn’t not been very fun yet... We have an up and coming WDW in Sept 2020, so we’re a bit more budget conscious on this one. Thanks in advance! If your primary focus is DLP itself with not much time to spend outside the parks I wouldn’t really recommend Village Nature.
You are paying a premium to stay there which includes the waterpark and activities etc. It’s kind of like paying to go to Center Parcs and then going off site every day. Further to that whilst there is a bus service between Village Nature and Disneyland it is chargeable at €2pp each way and the walk from your accommodation to the bus stop can be a bit of a hike potentially making a long day even longer. If however you want a couple of days at Disney mixed in with a couple more at the waterpark and activities etc then Village Nature is a good choice. As a guide we paid around £700 last October for a 3 night stay at Hotel Cheyenne on-site including park tickets and standard meal plan. That was mid week outside the school holidays for two adults, we booked in the July so just a few months before. However that didn’t include travel and prices at Disney only go one way each year, and that’s up! It usually works out cheaper to book travel and Disney separately instead of a package, are you wanting to fly or get the Eurostar? If you are on a budget I would look offsite and buy your Disney tickets separately. There are lots of options in Val d’Europe which include a free shuttle or there is a train which is quite cheap too. Hope that helps. Edited at 05:29 PM. |

For onsite stays I always book direct with Disney. As a guide, two nights/3 days at the Sequoia Lodge is coming out at £619.45, including tickets.
Alternatively you could stay at Val d'Europe which is short journey away by bus or train. Two nights would be around £150-£200 and park tickets on top of that would be £370. The downside is that you'd lose the benefits of being onsite such as access to early magic hours which are very useful if you only have a couple of days. Where are you travelling from? Booking direct with the airline or eurostar is almost always cheaper than booking with Disney. |
