Golden Coral Birthday meal
Does anyone know if they check ID for your birthday when you get a birthday meal voucher?

Whaaaat?! There are birthday vouchers at Golden Corral?! How do you get them?! Although I’m not sure he’d appreciate celebrating his actual birthday there it’s my husband’s birthday while we’re out there and we’re bound to eat plenty of meals there! 😋

We only have the occasional breakfast at GC and I wasn't aware that they did birthday vouchers.
We do both celebrate "birthdays" at the likes of Longhorn where you can get an occasional free flatbread starter or similar on your "Florida" birthday. The day that I'm asked to provide proof of my birthday to receive a free appetiser that costs them a dollar is the day I tell them where they can put their flatbread.  Mick

pretty sure i got a birthday meal there last year, and yeah, they checked my driving licence to make sure it really was my birthday week...

I had a voucher for golden corral for a free buffet. I cant remember for sure but I think it was a birthday one. I wasnt asked for ID but it may just depend on the location/server.

I’ve had a voucher sent for the last four years for my ‘Florida’ birthday
 Only ever been asked for Id once and I think he was only checking my name matched the voucher as he never commented that my actual birthday was two months before!
