Candlelight Processional Special Event Returns to Epcot

Friday 28th November 2014 marks the first performance of the 2014 Christmas season 'Candlelight Processional' in Epcot.

The Candlelight Processional is a special holiday event held nightly at the American Gardens Theatre in Epcot theme park as part of Holidays Around The World. The event retells the stirring story of Christmas with a special celebrity narrator accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra and a mass choir.

Candlelight Processional is a terrific way to get in the Christmas spirit and to share the magic of the season with your family and friends. The event has become an essential family tradition for many Guests — once you experience it, you will be inspired to share it every year with the ones you love.

There are 3 showings per night, 5pm, 6:45pm and 8:15pm. It lasts about 40 minutes per show and will end on the 30th December 2014.

More Guest Narrators will be announced later.

It is included with your park admission, you just have to queue in the 'regular' line, but you can book tickets for the show combined with a dinner package at certain Epcot restaurants, and that guarantees you a seat (although not necessarily a good seat as you still have to queue up with everyone else who has a dinner package ticket).

I think I read that you also get a ticket to preferred viewing area for Illuminations with this package. Can anyone clarify? And would it be with any of the Processional times (the last one wouldn't finish too late would it?)?

I would absolutely love to do this. Christmas is by far my favourite time of year. Definitely on my must do list for the future x

We got this ticket with the package in 2010, though we didn't end up using it as we found a better spot, nice to have though.

It came with ours in 2010 and was a great by the tree, between the path from Future World and the start of Mexico.

The biggest benefit was not having to stake out a spot and defend it!
