Yes it is. It started the last Friday in September in 2013. Earlier this year.

Absolutely gutted, we arrive Disney 8th and leave 14th September.
I've loved the festival in the past.

You don't need to book unless you want to take part in one or more of the special events they have.

Items are served all the way around the Word Showcase, each country pavilion will have kiosks and extra kiosks are setup between the country pavilions.

If it is your first time visiting then avoid the weekends as it will be very busy., a mid week visit providing the park hasn't got EMH on that day will be much easier than a weekend.
You say its free but obviously you have to buy the food you eat? Is that correct also the wine?

Yes, you have to buy any food you want... the same as you would at any other counter service. The is no separate cover charge for attending when the F&W festival is on though

MNSSHP and Food Festival

Please can anyone tell me if you have to pay extra to attend these 2 events. I don't really want the haloween one but wouldn't mind the food and wine one.
iIf we didn't want to attend the haloween party would we be able to be in the park on that evening.
Never been when these events have been taking place.
Any help would be appreciated so that we can sort out our plans.

Thanx in advance

Barb

The food and wine festival is included in your general park entry. If you want food or wine, you do pay for it. I'm not sure about being in the parks for the MNSSHP event but I'm sure that someone will be along to advise you.

I don't think Disney could afford to give food and wine away for weeks on end .. yes you pay for small taster plates of food everything is priced differently

you can pay in snack credits if your on the dining plan
