I have trimmed the fringe small amounts a couple of times, it is quite wispy so hopefully doesn’t looks too bad
Thinking that this might be the best opportunity to embrace the grey
Have seen some lovely effects

I love this style and colour and is just what I am after. The bottom picture is not dissimilar to how I usually have my hair. Hope you don’t mind me saving the top picture.

At the beginning of lock down I felt I looked a mess as was already overdue a colour and cut. I started using purple shampoo which has made my hair more ashy and my roots blend in much better now - I have also used the time to grow the sides of my fringe a bit which again I like. Have already said to my hairdresser that when I do get it done I want to keep the ashy colour .I am quite envious of those that have grey hair

I stopped having mine coloured in August last year. Was due to have a trim though on the Tuesday as lockdown was announced on the Monday!

With all the sun and wind my hair is beginning to feel a bit straw like so I put a mask on it yesterday. As my hair is wavy/curly it's only really the fringe that looks like it's grown.

I've been using a purple shampoo for years now but can't seem to get the purple tinge to show up no matter how long I leave it on.

Which purple shampoo do you use, and how often if you don’t mind me asking?
I’m wondering if that’s something I should use

Fanola shampoo will definitely give you a purple hue
It’s brought online and lot hairdressers use it
I use for it between 30 mins to hour and hour lasts a few weeks
I’ve not dyed my hair for 23 months now And now have no dye left in my hair
I was actually paying to go grey before I let my blonde highlights grow out

I use Fudge Clean Blonde. My hairdresser uses it but I buy it from Amazon.

Fudge did do so I wonder if it's the sun that's bleaching it out. Will look out for that when I've got through the litre bottle of fudge I have.
