Mobile Food processor for soup?

Hey!

I want to start making some soup over winter and would like to get a food processor. I won’t be doing it too often and so don’t want to spend too much on one. Can anyone recommend one please?

I know you can buy all kinds of fancy blenders but I just use a hand held blender. Works fine for soup. I like it because it fits easily away in a draw and doesn’t take up room in the kitchen cupboards.

I also just use a stick blender for soup. Just replaced mine and got a new one for £15 from the supermarket. Works really well.

I have a stick blender but to be honest I prefer to use the blender jug on my food processor.

A stick blender would be fine, any cheap one.

I have a soup maker (think its a Breville) and absolutley love it. Just rough chop ingredients, throw in and turn on. Perfect soup in 25 minutes with no cooking or blending! So worth it if you make soup often. I think it was £40 (I got the larger one)

I make soup every couple of weeks, but I just use my stick blender. I gave my food processor away as it takes up too much room and I only ever used it to make breadcrumbs for the Christmas cooking! I have discovered you can use the stick blender to make breadcrumbs, you just need to keep a tea towel over the bowl to stop it flying everywhere, you can guess how I know this

I also use a stick blender. I’ve got a food processor and blender, but the stick blender is just quicker and easier to use, and also easier to wash.

I also use a stick blender for soup. I did think about getting a specific soup maker a little while ago but I have too many gadgets I think!
