GD still had to do that at first but not so much now. That is under the hospital guidance.

My son's using the Dex G6 now but started out on the libre. I have no idea how we ever managed with just finger pricking alone.

With Omnipod, the G6 and, using a Riley Link to loop my son's recently had his best ever HbA1c - he's 13 and eats like a horse, has over 100 units of insulin a day, and his HbA1c is 37, or 5.5. Super proud of him

For those of you still using the libre - you should look into the MiaoMiao. If you don't mind a bit of extra kit (it goes over the libre sensor) it'll automatically send the readings to your phone, so pretty much turns flash glucose monitoring into a CGM
