Bed yes sofa no... mostly because when we got her that’s what our other dog did and she has learnt from her. Although, she is allowed to sleep on the bed she spends most of the time on the coolest floor she can find anyway so it’s worked out pretty well. She only sneaks on the sofa when my mum is round.

My last dog was allowed on the sofa if he was invited to.
He would come upstairs and sit in the bathroom whilst I was in the bath. He occasionally would come and sleep on our bed, he would burrow at the bottom between the duvet and top sheet and work his way up to the pillow end. During the day he was kept in the kitchen.

No to either but to be fair he’s scared of stairs so can’t actually get up to the bedroom in the first place! He’s a golden lab and moults too much for our dark grey sofa, he’s very happy on his orthopaedic dog bed though

Absolutely on the sofa! I find it weird that people don’t allow their dogs on the sofa. Surely everyone needs a dog cuddle once in a while? Ours sleeps curled up with us when we’re watching the TV.
I don’t have dogs on the bed, purely because I am allergic, and could not be dealing with dog hairs on the quilt.

We've got 2 cats and a dog, none of them are allowed upstairs but the dog is allowed on the sofa, which has a throw on it.

Mine have the run of the house, but now Molly is getting older she tends to stay in her bed most nights unless it’s cold she can’t see in the dark so struggles to find the bed. I woman I work with told me I was disgusting for letting my dog sleep in my bed she said “you don’t know where she has been” my reply was “I know exactly where she has been unlike the men you have in your bed “

Mine have the run of the house and go on the settees and the beds. The lab normally sleeps on the bed in the spare room and the terrier on my bed.

We started off with a no sofa, no bed rule but that didn’t last long. Now they are on throws on the sofas and one sleeps with each of the girls, can’t cope with them on our bed!
