Sad to say her other hip is also going, maybe a few years left before that one has to be done.
Now she is getting arthritis in her hand as well.

Yep, Hughes crew, so have i and worse. I remember a lady changing her babies dirty nappy about three inches away from the patients leg would following surgery, I have seen visitors fiddle with drips and push buttons on machines such as PCAs. I had one kind soul who removed the venflon as it “looked” sore and she “thought” it should come out.

Having this hip done may help the other one last longer as she's probably been "favouring" it.
My bad knee isn't the one I originally injured.

Last time I was in for surgery my husband was having a look at my wound just as a nurse walked in & the 1st thing she said was please don't touch it in a panicked voice! She was fine when she reliased he wasn't and when he explained he works in the medical field.
Why on earth would people put their feet up on a patients bed?
