Yes, mainly just the daughter as she often has head phones on so can’t hear if I shout.
Getting a constant stream of texts with food orders now she’s got covid and confined to her room!

I regularly use the Alexia for dropping in on my son. Had to stop messaging as he doesn't read them!

There's only the two of us at home but I love an Alexa announcement!

Our family group chat on WhatsApp is used loads. Better than screaming to call the kids down for dinner!

Right now it's being used by everyone moaning our Internet connection is rubbish tonight and keeps dropping out.

Definitely - especially as they often have selective hearing, yet I know for sure they’ll be looking at their screens

No, I keep my phone in my handbag. I can go all weekend without looking at it. My close friends have to resort to the land line if they need me urgently.

But then again, after working 20 years as a dinner lady I have a voice like a foghorn and can be heard throughout the house (and probably halfway down the street!)

Yes all the time. My youngest is always in her room with the door shut and I’m not resorting to screaming g up the stairs to tell her dinner is ready

I text my partner too when we are working from home as he is upstairs and I am down - usually asking him if he wants a cup of tea.

We have a what’s app group chat too.

Yep but mostly I use Alexa to drop in which is very handy especially as we have a 3 storey house.
