Tusker House or Garden Grill?
We are limiting ourselves to one character meal this year and have narrowed down the choices to either dinner at the Garden Grill in Epcot, or Tusker House at AK.
In your opinion what's the best for food and overall experience? |

best food Garden Grill no doubt
more characters Tusker, but overall I still would prefer GG... Tusker is a buffet, GG is family style and its a revolving restaurant (just in case you didn't know)

Garden Grill for me too, although I prefer the breakfast over the other meals. The TH food actually looks fine, but we don't do buffets so it's an automatic no for me. GG is family style, as already mentioned.
Plus, Farmer Mickey is too cute! And you can probably guess my faves by my avatar. |

In the minority here but we hated tusker house awful food and terrible character interaction maybe it was an off day but it was bad enough I'm not prepared to give it another try.
Never tried it yet but always heard positive things about garden grill and you get to meet chip & dale for a change so I'd go with that. |

These are the only 2 character meals we've done and we much preferred Garden Grill. We found the character visits at Tusker House very rushed, and the whole place was much more noisy and busy than GG. We also preferred the food at GG, although of course Tusker House has more choice which could be a factor to consider if there are fussy eaters.

I have very warm memories of Garden Grill when my daughter was a youngster. The character interaction was wonderful.

We thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the character interaction at Garden Grill. We enjoyed it so much that we are going to Garden Grill again this year.

My vote goes to GG too, my daughter and I did Tusker house and Garden Grill last year and the food and character experience in my opinion were both better at GG.
We too are doing GG again this year Edited at 11:54 PM. |

We have done Tusker many times as was one of our favourites however last week we did Garden Grill and loved it not the food choice as Tusker but it was lovely and fresh family style to the table all you can eat. We had a 8.10 sitting it wasn crowded in there at all and the character interaction is the best we've ever had at any character meal, great start to the day!
