I was wondering earlier whether your machine had arrived - excellent news!
As for what you need, that will really depend on what you want to make!
Good quality card stock if you want to make cards, plus mirror card/glitter card especially for cake toppers. HTV vinyl if you want to personalise clothing, cushions, aprons etc - this can be done with an iron but it you really get into it a heat press is better. Self adhesive/permanent vinyl for decorating pots or labelling - remember to get transfer tape for this too.
Let us know what you want to try and we can make suggestions to help!

As well as the above you are going to need mats, weeding tools & scraper... atm Hobbycraft have a sale on select Cricut items.
I do use my home iron for htv but am looking at a heat press.
These links are just for examples... I would google and see if you can find them cheaper.

oooo, exciting! a little selection of vinyls to try! I can't see exactly from the picture - but think I can see ... some Heat Transfer Vinyl, and some permanent and standard vinyl. Love the little slate heart - look forward to seeing what you do with it! Can't see any in the picture but you will need some transfer tape to use with the permanent and standard vinyl. With Heat transfer, it comes with its own carrier sheet but you need to reverse your image to cut. Definitely watch lots of vides on UTube - crifty crafty is good! You will soon be hooked and wanting to label everything in the house!

Here are the photos I’ve done a close up this time! I’ve also bought glitter paper from Amazon too
As yet I still haven’t got the machine out of the box properly yet, but today is my day off so I will be later!
I’ve watched Jennifer Maker on YouTube, so far only how to set up the maker but I’m going to watch another one later
I’m still not sure what I’m doing to be honest but hopefully it will become a lot clearer when I actually have a go at making something!
