We too just love Vdara but guess its going to cost more. Have you tried booking with Caesars website itself? I book, cancel, and re book if the prices go down. I would definitely book a free cancelation rate as its a year away and prices fluctuate a lot in that time.
Yeah its Thanksgiving week, sunday check in, black friday check out, its free cancellation on Expedia but i will check out direct too

I am leaning more towards PH, it looks more up our street, hope you have a lovely time

That said I’m not so aligned to post COVID prices and something in the back of my head tells me you’re there over RNR Vegas which pushes prices up big time.
Yeah i dont want to book anything without resort fees included and free cancellation. Its Thanksgiving week Sunday to Black Friday, to be honest ive had a look at Ballys recent reviews and they arent great so i am leaning more towards PH. If there is a convention on too im wondering whether i should be booking sooner rather than later

We stayed at the Paris hotel with a tower view but ended up at the back of the hotel as due to the night club below it felt like our bed was next to the DJ booth . Saying that the view from that room was of the mountains and it was a lovely hotel. If we ever went back would probably choose the Cosmopolitan.

I stayed there as recently (? ! ) as November 2021. If it’s Thanksgiving that would if anything make rates a bit lower possibly (no conventions and a tendency for Americans to stay with family). RNR is a big racing weekend but won’t be over Thanksgiving.

I would not see any benefit in booking early. But if the rate is cancellable you have nothing to lose.

Think RNR is February Karen. I cant see the benefit of booking a year out as prices will fluctuate a lot by then. As you say it does no harm to book if you can cancel.

Nooo!

Why have they changed it?! It’s always been November / December since before I was even born!

Wynn, Venetian, Cosmo, Bellagio, Aria, Vdara, are my absolute favorites . If money were no object I would stay at any of those. For mid priced, hotels in a good location you are on the right track. You are right about Ballys not having such good reviews. I would not worry about that as your trip is a year away and things change. I have a few back ups but will have to decide soon. Have you checked Park MGM? Or Mirage? They are 2 of our back ups. We are going in February again and I keep checking. If I see prices fall significantly I will tell you.
