I was convinced we had seen the house in grand designs but I’ve googled and it’s a set. It must be strongly influenced by the Grand Designs house though.

The indoor pool area is very similar.

I’ve recorded these to watch. I read the book it’s based on and really enjoyed it so I’m hoping the series will be good

I found the first episode so slow and boring! I read the book, much better not liking the main characters bit bland. Could definitely have done it in 2 episodes x

I find this often with book to tv adaptations. They’re often slow and the characters just aren’t the character I imagine when I’ve read it and, therefore, often disappointing

this one doesnt look anything like it but there was one that was very similar on TV - possibly grand designs or a similar programme
